Dear stranger,

You may not know it yet, or may have forgotten, but you're beautiful. I don't care what the world says, what your past or present says, or even the voices in your life that try to convince you otherwise. I'm telling you, with 100% certainty:

you're beautiful.

I get it, life can truly suck sometimes. We come across people that tell us we're not good enough or we're too "this" or too "that." But I'm telling you that you're perfect the way you are. Beauty is not reserved for the lucky few, it belongs to us all. How do I know? Because I've seen it a thousand times before.

I've had the privilege of photographing thousands of people as a portrait photographer. I’ve seen the initial hesitation when I show someone the back of my camera, the guarded “Is that me?” look in their eye, and then, sometimes, the smallest smile as they realize: It’s not too bad. And that’s enough for me, it's what I live for. From there, we keep going. We dig deeper. And every time, I fall in love with who they are. Not their physical body or their mind. I fall in love with their soul.

If superpowers exist, mine is human connection. I’ve always had this deep curiosity about people, maybe because I used to be the quietest person in the room, watching from the sidelines. Those missed connections fueled a hunger in me to truly see people, to find beauty and meaning in everyone I meet. Now, that’s what I do. That’s who I am.

I’m not just a boudoir photographer. I’m someone who wants to be part of your journey. I don’t want to meet you for the first time on the day of your shoot. I want to know you before then. I want to hear your stories, your fears, and your dreams. I want to be the person you text or email when you’re nervous about what to wear or when self-doubt creeps in late at night. I want to help you reconnect with your beauty, the kind that’s always been there, waiting to be rediscovered. You're worth that and no time spent in pursuit of that is time wasted for me, please know this.

I know it's hard to believe but I’m not really in this for the money or the clout. I’m here to build something bigger, something lasting. A community of individuals who feel empowered, celebrated, and seen. Lifelong friendships are what I'm after. Because when we lift each other up, when we celebrate every stretch mark, scar, and smile line, we create something more than photographs. We create memories, confidence, and connection.

So, dear stranger, when you’re ready, I’m here. Not just with my camera, but with my heart. Let’s uncover your beauty together.

Love,

-Marvin
